Pro-Am and Individual Competition
Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Wednesday - May 28 (Double Shotgun 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M)
Hyannis GC - Thursday - May 29
(Shotgun - 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.)

Professionals are urged to bring three amateur partners, two of whom may have indexes of five or under, Cape Cod Open Pro-Am. Amateurs not on a team may enter and will be paired with pros not having full teams. Pros lacking teams may compete for individual prizes.

The field will be limited to 224 contestants and determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Following the first round, the field will be cut to the low 88 contestants and those tied for 88th place. Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 50 contestants and those tied for 50th place. Second and third-round pairings will be based on scores, and a shotgun start will be used. Contestants playing 54 holes will receive a prize. Entry deadline 5:00 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2008 No refunds thereafter.

ENTRY FEE - $215 for professionals, $130 for amateurs (tax deductible as allowed by law). Golf car cost is included in entry fee. The committee reserves the right to reduce the number of rounds in the event of inclement weather. Adjusted index will be posted on the scorecards.

TIES for Open championship will be decided by playoff. Pro-Am ties will be broken by adding prize values and dividing by the number of tied teams, with merchandise certificates going to the winning amateurs.

CAPE professionals winning in two individual pro competitions will receive only the larger of the two prizes. Champions in each category will be awarded prizes following the final round. Other prizes will be mailed within one week.

OPTIONAL SKINS GAME - There will be a morning and afternoon skins game ($10 per player) in the first round with a percentage deducted for administration
